Immediately after returning from Moscow, following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Guinea-Bissau Foreign Minister Fatoumata Jaú met with the BRICS Mobility team. They discussed the development of educational programs and labor mobility, as part of the implementation of the agenda set at the highest level.

At the ministerial meeting in Moscow, the discussion focused on strengthening friendly relations and expanding economic cooperation. Sergey Lavrov noted that absolute trade figures between the countries are unsatisfactory, as they do not reflect the potential of Russia and Guinea-Bissau. He emphasized Russia's readiness to support the promotion of business cooperation in various fields. Bissau representatives, in turn, confirmed their commitment to ensuring favorable conditions for Russian companies, including Rusal. Fatoumata Jaou also proposed a Russian-Bissau business forum, which was supported by the Russian Foreign Minister.
